“Virgin People” is the movie that marked Ernie Garcia as royalty in the film industry, aside from being a movie top grosser, this movie participated in International Film Festival. In 1988, he bagged the Aliw Award BEST ACTOR for the stage play “Hamlet”. The following year, he won the best supporting actor of Star Awards in “Bukas Sisikat Din Ang Araw”. Amazingly this best actor is multitalented, he not just outstanding with acrylic, but have master the use of other mediums like, filer glass, wood, pebbles, tiles, steel, iron, and natural materials capitulated in glass. He had several minor and major exhibits all were appreciated by art critics, enthusiasts and collectors. In fact he had commission work to do murals on houses and has so far done three mural works for fine dining restaurants in Makati /Metro Manila.
